This vintage dress/slip is very unique. It’s possible that this was intended to wear under another dress to provide shape/volume. The black fabric feels like taffeta while the white accordion pleated section feels more like an organza/organdy. The neckline has a scalloped design creating a sweetheart style, the dress has a dropped waist and lightly flared skirt creating a stunning silhouette. Wear it as is, add some embellishments at the division between fabrics for extra style, or wear it under another dress to create that gorgeous flare at the hem. This item appears to have been handmade, there are no tags. The dress zips up the back and the zipper is in good working condition. Very Good vintage.
